Inside view of a coiled polyester fabric bowl. The advantage of stretchy polyester is that it wraps tighter than a cotton would and gives a neater appearance with no frayed edges. This fabric was retrieved from a gargantuan & most unappealing mumu-style dress. The fabric design is, however, very watercolour-like and appealing. Just goes to show that a garment may not be gorgeous, but the fabric may be used successfully in another application.
